Progressivism was the biggest loser of this recent election, so now to the biggest winner.  Contrary to what appears obvious, it is not Donald Trump.  Yes, he became the president-elect with a whopping 306 electoral votes, but he is hardly the biggest winner.  Think about it.  Prior to filing for office, he owned a prosperous company, had successfully raised a herd of children who have given him, are giving him, and will give him a wagon load of grandchildren.  He has a Proverbs 31 wife properly focused on rearing their 10-year-old son, Barron, yet he swapped all this to subject himself and his family to years of vile, public ridicule.  Thank God for patriots like Donald Trump who put country above self.

 So who was the biggest winner in the 2016 election?  It is the dream called America; the truly exceptional idea that all men are created equal by a Creator who endowed them with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Amen, hallelujah, praise the Lord!  It is noteworthy these tenets of liberty are polar opposite to the restraints of progressivism, hence the conflict between the biggest winner and loser.   

The Donald cannot, nor should not, restore our republic alone, so every red blooded patriot regardless their sex, race, creed, religion or national origin must join forces to subdue our oppressive government.  Have you noticed the sun shining brighter since November 8^th?  I have.  With patriots rallying to the cause, America can once again become the land of opportunity, but it won’t be easy.  Thomas Paine warned us in his 1776, American Crisis:

  “Objects we obtain to cheap, we esteem too lightly.  Tis dearness only which gives everything its value.  Heaven knows how to put a proper price on its goods and it seems strange indeed so celestial an article such as freedom not be highly rated.” 

The yearning to escape from under a tyrannical ruling class is uniting American patriots from coal mines, clear cuts, assembly lines, lumber mills, oil fields, railyards, steel mills, shopping malls, rangelands and feedlots.  This unification of dissimilar forces in the defense of liberty was seen in 1776, when the British watched the colony’s wealthiest citizens like Hancock and Washington align with the impoverished likes of Knox and Paine.  Then as now, together we will restore the dream called America, not because it is easy, but because it is worth it.
