If you are reading this, then the Mayan’s doomsday prediction is no more accurate than Al Gore’s global warming forecast of ten years ago. On the other hand, if the world did end December 21st, please read no further!
Here is my prediction of America’s path beginning next year:
Whereas, for you to believe our deficit is from the Bush tax cuts, you must ignore the fact the US Treasury as well as many state treasuries, saw record revenues from 2006 through the first half of 2008; and
Whereas, spending exploded beginning in 2009 with over $1 trillion more in new debt each year since; and
Whereas, President Obama’s fiscal cliff solution of taxing those earning over $250,000 per year would raise a measly $45 billion against this trillion dollar deficit; and
Whereas, America’s money is in the middle class, we are being taken as fools; and
Whereas, lobbyists, trade groups and citizens are jockeying like feeder pigs at the funding trough screaming “buy it for me, buy it for me,” so no one believes we are broke; and
Whereas Democrats have fully embraced the principles of Marx, while the establishment Republicans have fully embraced the principles of compromise with anyone, anywhere, at any time if you just promise to say nice things about them;
I do hereby predict we have not suffered nearly enough and the American people will keep buying the state sponsored lie until their bank accounts and bellies are both empty. By then it will be too late. Happy New Year and have a nice day!
